Physical

In a word, Linnaea is beautiful. Objectively beautiful, no matter who one may be, easily turning heads in any room she walks into.

She has long, soft pink hair, so long that it reaches her ankles. The ends naturally curl up into small heart shapes. Her eyes are sharp and large, magenta in color. They glow faintly when she actively uses her semblance, and her pupils are heart-shaped.

She's a little over 5'10". Her deep-olive skin is soft to the touch, with not a single imperfection, and her long nails are often painted a bright pink color.

When wearing her school uniform, she forgoes the jacket, wearing only the button-down top (only buttoned halfway) with the sleeves rolled to her elbows, and the skirt hiked up to her upper-thigh.

If you're reading this thinking to yourself "this is how a 12 year old describes their mary sue oc" then it's working. Because she is. Grovel. Immediately.

Skills & Abilities

Semblance

APHRODITE'S AID: Linnaea's semblance, Aphrodite’s Aid, grants her the power of a somewhat-forgotten ancient goddess of love and beauty. Thanks to the extensive training offered at Pantheon Private Academy, her semblance has hyper evolved into a multifaceted semblance, granting her abilities she can exercise both passively and actively.

HEARTBREAKER: Activated mode. Aura drain: Medium. The longer Linnaea pursues a single melee target, the less their attacks wear on her own aura, weakened when fighting her only, as this mode slowly drains their will to fight.

PASSIONATE: Activated mode. Aura drain: Heavy. More advanced form of Heartbreaker. Her movements, decorated in flourishes of bright pink, draw the opponent's eyes to her, distracting nearby enemies that can see her. Stunned by her beauty, she again drains the will to fight, but focuses on an area instead of a single target.

OUT OF YOUR LEAGUE: Activated mode. Aura drain: Low. Bolsters her own defenses at the cost of her own strength. She takes less damage for a time without actually affecting her opponent in any way.

SWEET SURRENDER: Activated mode. Aura drain: Very heavy. When Heartbreaker & Passionate are activated in tandem, opponents really, really don't like fighting Linnaea. The effects of her semblance grow much more potent, and if she really focuses her aura, she can inflict damage back on her opponents.

UNHEALTHY FIXATION: Passively, her semblance allows her to easily charm people in conversation, and naturally attract people to her. She is naturally trustworthy, and capable of making friends (and further) very quickly. Put plainly: what Linnaea wants, Linnaea gets.

Weaponry

AREIA: Linnaea fights with a spear and shield combo, favoring elegant flourishes and flashy movements. ‘Areia’ refers to both pieces together, as she never uses one without the other. The spear is made of marble and bronze, and the point is shaped like an upside-down heart. Long ribbons cascade from around the tip, which she uses as distractions in battle. The shield is bronze, and also has heart-shaped details. Both can be enhanced with various types of dust.

History

Background

Linnaea was scouted for Pantheon Academy much later in life than most students, as she did not unlock her semblance until well past the average age. She was born and raised in the city of Vale. In her youth, she was sent to Lady Browning’s Preparatory Academy For Girls, and it was there that she unlocked her semblance during a class about The Art Of The Smile. From then on, the academy became a breeze, charming both teacher and classmate alike.

Soon after, the Fates of Pantheon Academy took notice of her semblance, and the academy reached out to recruit her. Linnaea left Lady Browning’s before graduating, and was quite happy to do so. She found the whole thing very suffocating. Her past few years have been spent on the island of Olympus, a place she has grown to truly adore. The beautiful beaches, the sun beating down - it’s the first place she’s truly felt at home. She has many friends among the student body, and is a popular face.
